Our Mission

Patient-centered care for kids of all ages

The health and appearance of your child’s smile starts with that very first tooth. At Smile Ark Pediatric Dentistry, we put our patients first by prioritizing compassion and individualized attention—taking the time to truly listen to each family’s unique needs. Having your child establish a positive relationship with the dentist is important to us, which is why we help set them up for success in a welcoming, caring environment.

Meet Dr. Lee

Dr. Lee is excited to be able to provide her community with an inclusive, comprehensive pediatric practice focused on making her patients and their parents feel confident, comfortable, and at-ease. She loves working with kids of all ages and seeing them smile proudly.

Born in Korea and raised in Boston, Dr. Lee graduated with a degree in biochemistry from Northeastern University in 2008. She then attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, graduating magna cum laude with her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree (DMD)—in addition to being inducted into the national dental honor society for outstanding academic achievements.

After dental school, Dr. Lee completed her pediatric residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital, where she enjoys hospital privileges and teaching as a faculty member of the Yale Pediatric Dentistry residency program. She also became Board Certified by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD).

Dr. Lee has participated in multiple research projects throughout her dental career and received numerous awards. She is committed to continuing education, with special interests in tethered oral tissues (TOTs) and airway management in infants and children. She is also an ambassador for The Breathe Institute (TBI) and a member of the Tongue-Tie Academy. Dr. Lee stays current with the latest restorative techniques and technology, (she has received a standard laser certification from the Academy of Laser Dentistry), and uses only the best materials to provide comfortable, conservative, and modern treatments for her little patients.

She seeks to provide comprehensive dental care by recognizing each child’s different needs, and by encouraging proactive patient/parental involvement in oral health. In her spare time, Dr. Lee likes spending time with her young daughter, playing tennis with her husband, staying involved with her local church, and enjoying the company of her two lovely cats.
